PREP
The NMC requires all registered nurses to maintain a portfolio to record their PREP (Post-registration Education & Practice) in order to ensure nurses maintain the highest standards of care for their patients. The NMC requires nurses to reflect on their learning activities to ensure they consider how they can implement their new skills and knowledge into their practice. Reflecting on your practice is the sign of a practitioner who acts in a considered way and learns from their experiences - so reflecting is very important.
The 'Reflective Statement' template in this e-portfolio is modeled on the guidance provided by the NMC. You can attach a reflective statement to any report you wish to generate from your e-portfolio as part of the evidence you want to include.
