Evidence

This section is designed to help you collect a range of different sorts of evidence to support the CPD plans you have created. There are many different sorts of evidence - observations, reports, testimonials, presentations, flyers, certificates etc. It is important to ensure your evidence meets each of the following four criteria - that the evidence is: valid, specific, relevant and current.

You should periodically revisit the evidence in your portfolio to ask yourself:

  • What am I able to demonstrate?
  • What are the most effective pieces of evidence to do this?
  • How well am I succeeding and what evidence do I have for my belief?

To learn more about collecting and working with evidence, visit the 'Portfolio Development' learning opportunity in the Personal Skills area of the Learning Zone.
