Regional branches

Wherever you work in the Eastern Region you belong to one of the of the six county branches; Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire. The elected RCN representatives who form the branch executive of each of these work together to organise the services you receive locally, accrediting and disaccrediting representatives, determining how RCN funds will be distributed and spent on planned events and activities. They also work with regional staff to provide you with meetings containing continuing professional development, access to influence politicians, leaders and policy makers.

Your branch county conference

You will meet and share experiences with members from all disciplines, sectors and at different stages of their health and social care careers. These are your meetings, so if you want to come along, the next county conference for each branch is advertised on the appropriate web page. Give us a call or email and register for these events.

Get more from your RCN

We are always keen to recruit new members and activists so why not come along with a friend and let your branch know you'd like to receive training to become an activist. All our training is high quality, sound management and leadership preparation. Experience as an RCN activist is thoroughly recommended if you want to develop yourself as an active learner, advocate for patients and service users, influencer, organiser, campaigner, negotiator, representative or skilled and effective communicator.
