Leaders in London
Leaders in London is designed to be a two-way conversation between RCN London and nurse leaders in the NHS, independent sector, higher education and the third sector. This conversation will open up the opportunity for nurse leaders to influence RCN policy and get their message across, as well as acting as a conduit for the RCN to solicit these views.

Issue 8 - February Hello and welcome to this edition of Leaders in London. We are currently involved in a dialogue with members over the Healthcare for London: Consulting the Capital document. The consultation ends on 8 March, and we have an online survey posted on the RCN London web page which we will use to gauge our members’ involvement with this important issue. Issue 7 - July This summer the RCN is fighting disparity within the UK. While our Celtic cousins in Scotland, Wales and now Northern Ireland receive the Pay Review Body recommended pay rise of 2.5% in full backdated to 1 April, nurses in England must take part in a ballot on industrial action to fight for parity. The RCN believes that this is a preventable state of affairs, which could easily be corrected at a relatively small cost (£60m) to the Government. Download issue 7 (PDF, 223.8 KB) |

On March 3rd NHS Together will be holding a national day of action with events taking place across the country. Download issue 6 (PDF, 191.9 KB) |
