County Durham and Darlington branch
Welcome to the web page of the County Durham and Darlington branch. The County Durham and Darlington branch is one of the five branches of the RCN Northern Region.

Generally, if you are an RCN member and you work either within County Durham or Darlington areas, you will automatically be a member of County Durham and Darlington branch.
The branch boundaries mirror the the current NHS commissioning boundaries for County Durham PCT and Darlington PCT.
County Durham and Darlington branch is your voice in the RCN. As well as sending delegates to RCN's annual Congress, the branch has representation on the RCN's regional board. We hold regular meetings where we discuss issues of concern to local members. As a member you are invited to attend our branch meetings. If you want to contact a member of the branch executive or attend a branch meeting, please contact our regional office on 0345 772 6100 and a member of staff will be able to provide you with further information.
Following elections at the branch AGM in September 2011, the branch executive is now:

- Katrina Denton: Secretary
- Stuart Isles: Treasurer
- Branch Executive: Tim Grace, Amanda McEwan.
The branch are currently looking for local RCN members to get involved with future events, including campaigns and membership recruitment drives. We also work closely with the RCN Northern region and can signpost you towards a number of career development and training opportunities.
