Katrina (Tina) Denton, Chair
Tina Denton is a health visitor for Darlington Primary Care Trust. In addition to being Chair of County Durham and Darlington Branch, she is a steward and a safety representative. She is also a board member of the RCN Northern Region, and represents the board on the UK Safety Representatives Committee.
Prior to being a health visitor, Tina was a staff nurse at Darlington Memorial Hospital in their neonatal unit for seven years. She has also worked within the fields of acute older persons' medicine, ITU and neonatal intensive care.
She has received both an RCN Long Service Award, and also an award for "Individual Audit" by Darlington Primary Care Trust. Tina currently is a member of Darlington Primary Care Trust's Health and Safety Committee, and also attends their JCNC. She is currently studying for an MA in health care risk management.
