Greater Liverpool and Knowsley (GLK) branch

Welcome

The Greater Liverpool and Knowsley (GLK) branch was launched in October 2008 following a North West region review of branch structure.

As a relatively new branch, we cover a large geographical area, and out of necessity we are organised across a series of workplaces.

Currently, our priorities as set out by the Branch Executive Committee are to:

  • develop a good communication network for all members of the branch
  • create seminars and training sessions for all members of the branch which will cover a wide range of relevant topics
  • influence on a wide range of issues that are in the public domain with regard to the development of NHS services within our area

Achieving our aims will take time, but we would ask members to forward any ideas or suggestions for the branch to a member of the branch Executive so that we can look to introduce as many of them as possible.
