Greater Liverpool and Knowsley (GLK) branch

Welcome

The Greater Liverpool and Knowsley branch, also called the 'GLK', was launched in October 2008 following a North West region review of the branch structure.

As a new branch we cover a large geographic area, and of necessity, we are organised on a series of workplace units.

Currently the priorities as set out by the Branch Executive Committee are to:

  • develop a good communications network for all members of the branch
  • create seminars and training sessions for all members of the branch which will cover a wide range of relevant topics
  • influence on a wide range of issues that are in the public domain in respect of the development of NHS services within our area.

As this web page is developed, we will introduce newsletters and other relevant information for all members.

To achieve our aims will take time, but we would ask members to forward any ideas or suggestions for the branch to a member of the branch executive so that we can try to introduce as many as possible.
