Welcome

Lancashire East branch was launched in November 2008 following a North West region review of branch structure. We cover a large geographical area of Lancashire.

The aims and priorities of the branch are to:

  • develop our communication networks and reach out to both NHS and non-NHS members
  • be the voice of nursing and influence the health care arena in Lancashire
  • hold regular events to help you keep up-to-date, improve your practice, and to enable you to debate and network with colleagues

For the branch to achieve our aims we require your help as members. If you are a Health Care Assistant (HCA), Assistant Practitioner (AP), student, community nurse, hospital nurse, nurse tutor, retired nurse or have any other nursing job that makes you eligible to join the RCN, then the branch Executive wants to hear your ideas and suggestions for taking the branch forward.

At present, the branch has a circulation list through which you can receive newsletters, including up-to-date information on events and other news of interest to branch members.

Regional Board link
