RCN Devon branch
All RCN members are welcome to attend branch meetings. Come and meet the team and influence your local RCN.
Role of branch meetings
The purpose of branch meetings is to support members in practice, education and continuing development. The branch is forward thinking and is always looking for new ideas and ways of working and promoting the branch. We are always looking for new representatives with a passion for nursing and supporting nurses in a variety of areas. With such a wide knowledge base and areas of expertise, there is always good peer support from the branch for all representatives in all areas of work.
Devon branch is your voice in the RCN. As well as sending delegates to RCN's annual Congress, the branch has representation on the RCN's regional board. We hold regular meetings where we discuss issues of concern to local members. As a member you are invited to attend our bi-monthly branch meetings. Dates and venue stated below.
Come along to a meeting and find out:
- what the RCN is up to locally and nationally
- how you can get involved in supporting the RCN in representing nurses and nursing, promoting excellence in practice, shaping health policies locally
- what educational seminars you could take part in
- about other members and activists.
