The regional board
The regional board is the realisation of devolution of governance for the RCN.
Objectives:
- implement UK strategy to meet South West needs
- ensure RCN Council priorities are implemented locally
- positively influence local health social and economic policy.
The board comprises:
- fields of practice representatives
- South West region branch representatives
- functional group representatives, such as members from the UK Stewards and Safety Committees
- one student representative
- two council members for the region.
