The work

The South West legal staff are based at the RCN's regional office in Exeter. Their work involves:

accident claims (personal injury and/or criminal Injury compensation authority claims)
NMC cases
injury benefit and pension cases
criminal cases
any work that does not concern strictly employment law.

Referrals

All referrals should be sent to the RCN regional office in the first place. Referrals will be passed on to the South West legal staff for advice and representation, where appropriate.

The legal team provides a personal and user-friendly service. We have considerable experience of nurses' legal problems. We understand the problems of nurses who have fallen on hard times.
