Activists get active
RCN representatives in the South West region are promoting their RCN roles locally to encourage members to join in and get active.
The level of change we are now experiencing in health is unprecedented. Here in the South West, we are also fighting the changes proposed by the South West Pay Cartel. RCN representatives are being asked to do more and more to fulfil partnership agreements with employers and represent our members on the range of issues affecting them in their employment. They need help with this important work. In the NHS and independent sector work places we need more RCN representatives; safety representatives, learning representatives and stewards.
RCN representatives can be registered nurses or health care assistants, from any nursing background. Being RCN-active can make a difference where you work and the roles are fully trained and supported.
