Regional board

The RCN West Midlands regional board's role is to advance the work of the RCN in the region in accordance with the key aims and objectives of the RCN as set out in the organisation's Royal Charter. The board generally meets four times a year and is made up of:

  • the region's two members on the RCN Council, the governing body of the organisation
  • a representative from each of the RCN branches in the West Midlands
  • local members who sit on the UK stewards', learning representatives' and safety representatives' committees
  • a student member representative.
