The Coventry and Warwickshire branch was formed from the merger of the Coventry, Rugby, North Warwickshire and South Warwickshire branches in October 2009.

RCN Coventry & Warwickshire learning event - 'The Francis report: what does it mean for nurses and the public perception of nursing?'
When: Tuesday 30 April 2013 - please arrive at 2pm for a 2.15pm start. Refreshments will be available on arrival.

The RCN Coventry and Warwickshire branch are delighted to invite RCN members to a free learning event that will focus on the findings of the Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust Public Inquiry.
The event will take the form of a panel discussion which will be taking questions from members on the day, as well as any sent in by members before the event.
Representing senior nursing leadership, the RCN and media/communications, the panel members include:
- Dawn Wardell - Director of Nursing and Quality, George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust
- Jane Paterson - RCN West Midlands Regional Officer
- Tim Baggs - RCN West Midlands Communications Officer
The aim is to have a lively discussion on what is a topic of immediate concern for anyone from any sector and career path with an interest in nursing and nursing issues.
