Branch secretary - Mark Butler
Mark Butler is the secretary of the South Staffordshire branch of the Royal College of Nursing.
After joining the NHS in 1997, Mark became a Student Information Officer with the RCN in 1998 whilst at Staffordshire University.
He was elected as an accredited steward in 2001 and has remained active since, holding posts on the RCN West Midlands Regional Board and, more recently, as a member of the South Staffordshire branch executive committee.
Mark works for South Staffordshire and Shropshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and is an active volunteer with St John Ambulance, having become a unit manager with the organisation in 2005.
