Regional Council members
Roy Tomlinson
Roy Tomlinson was elected Chair of the Yorkshire & The Humber Regional Board in 2011. As an RCN representative he has been a learning representative and steward for NHS North Yorkshire and York, Secretary and then Chair of the North Yorkshire Coast branch and also a health and safety representative for the North Yorkshire Coast branch.
He has four decades of nursing experience, and currently works at Malton Hospital as Continuing Care Coordinator. During his career he has worked as a staff nurse, charge nurse, community nurse and also as the manager of a nursing home.

Anne Kennedy
Anne Kennedy was elected to RCN Council in 2009 and her term of office expires in 2013. Anne is a member of Council's Membership and Representation Committee, and the Trade Union Governance Group.
Anne is Chair of the RCN Bradford and Airedale Branch. Anne is a part-time paediatric staff nurse at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust but before stepping down from a full-time nursing role she was General Manager for Children, Maternity and Clinical Support at the Mid Yorkshire NHS Trust in Wakefield. Anne was awarded an MA in Management and Leadership in Health and Social Care by Leeds University in 1997.
