Yorkshire & the Humber Social Partnership Forum

Arrangements for regional Social Partnership Forums (SPF) are broadly similar to the National SPF and bring together employers and the regional NHS to discuss, debate and involve partners in the development and implementation of the workforce implications of policy.

The 2007 Partnership Agreement highlights key principles of partnership working, agreed at a national level. Regional SPFs discuss a broad range of issues, for example regional workforce planning, including education and training, tackling SHA-wide issues such as displaced staff or working through the wider implications of service changes or re-configuration which affects more than one employer.
