Statement regarding the Forensic Nursing Forum election 2009
An investigation into a complaint received about the elections to the Forensic Nursing Forum has been completed and the successful members in the election have been written to and their appointments confirmed.
The investigation confirmed that nominations forms and ballot papers were despatched to all registered members of the Forensic Nursing Forum in Northern Ireland by Electoral Reform Services Ltd. It also showed that all the channels of communication available had been used to make sure members were aware of the elections and replacement sets of paperwork had been issued when request.
As part of the preparation for the 2010 elections the Forums Governance Group will be reviewing the 2009 process and will ensure any lessons from the 2009 elections are learned.
