RCN Council positions

RCN Council members have decided who will take up key Council officer roles following an election process. The statements submitted by each successful candidate can be seen below. Further information on the role of Council and its supporting committees can be found on the Council area of the RCN website.

2009 RCN Council elections: results

The detailed voting results of the 2009 Council elections are shown below. Congratulations to the successful candidates and many thanks to all who showed an interest. Huge thanks also go to those council members who will be stepping down in October. The successful candidates will take up post following the AGM.

2009 RCN Council elections: Candidates

Elections have taken place this year for 15 seats on Council. One seat was up for election in the East Midlands, Eastern, London, North West, Northern, South East, South West, Wales, West Midlands and Yorkshire & the Humber. There were two seats in both Northern Ireland and Scotland. There was also one seat for a Student Member of Council.
