Kevin Bell
My name is Kevin Bell and this is my statement of intent to stand for election to the RCN council as Northern Ireland representative.
I am a registered nurse for people with Learning Disability although my current role is as a trade union secretary for the Western Health and Social Care Trust.
In this role I have gained extensive insight into ALL fields of the nursing profession, both in the public and independent sector of health care provision. I have represented nurses, students, health care assistants from all areas on a range of issues from Agenda for Change to employment related problems.
I am currently Chair of Foyle and Altnagelvin branch and I represent this branch on RCN NI board.
If elected to Council I will ensure that the voice of the entire nursing profession is clearly heard at a national level.
