Yvonne Dyer
I have been a London Council member for the last four years during that time I have developed an excellent understanding of the working structure of the RCN, the legal and strategic issues that surround governance, good working practice and accountability also promoting the RCN as a Professional and Trade Union organisation.
I continue to enjoy my grass roots activities, whether as a Neonatal Nurse or as an RCN activist. Continuously championing for high quality, safe nursing care, ensuring our patients, relatives and staff are treated with dignity and respect.
I remain dedicated to fulfilling my role as a Council member, Chair of London Board and Bexley Branch. Enabling effective two-way communication between the Board internally and externally.
I provide effective leadership as Chair of staff side in a newly formed Trust. I am a member of the Internal Organisational Development and Change Team, articulating the need to embrace the changing healthcare environment to a workforce to promote a shared vision of values which will create strong clinical leadership.
As a Steward, Learning and Health &Safety representative, I continue to give my time and energy to ensure that all the members I advise, represent and support are given my best.
I encourage members of the healthcare family to become RCN members, joining forums and become activists, supporting them whilst they enhance their roles by undertaking either lifelong learning or representative's training and development.
I would be honoured to receive your vote.
Thank you.
