Election Statement:
From Cadet Nurse to Board I have a wealth of experience spanning 35 years both inside and outside of the NHS
I work as a clinical strategist with an in-depth knowledge of delivering complex and patient focussed projects. I have a proven ability to work with a variety of people in varied settings. A natural communicator I enjoy working with people.

These posts refined my communication skills, representation skills, and ability to ask probing questions. I have developed the skills of analysis and debate and can grasp essentials.
My values of ingerity, passion, honesty, humility, and compassion are enhanced by nursing.
Teaching provided an in-depth understanding of Nurse Education and the issues faced by lecturers and students.
Board experience taught me how to Chair meetings and to be a consummate team player whilst retaining independence of mind and good judgement.
To be your president would be a huge honour and privilege. As we enter uncharted territory socially, economically and politically we will be challenged.
I would love to be representing you, the RCN and Nursing at the highest level during this turbulent period.
I will always listen and learn and will work tirelessly on your behalf.
