Nominations for the RCN Award of Merit and RCN Fellowship
Fellowships are awarded to UK registered nurses who have made an exceptional contribution to the advancement of nursing and health care as a profession.
Honorary fellowships are awarded in recognition of an individual who has made an exceptional contribution to health care.
The Award of Merit is given in recognition of exceptional service to the RCN over and above the outstanding contribution made by all activists. It is not a long service award.
Any RCN member (except employees of the College), Board, Branch or National entity can nominate someone for one of these awards.
These honours are awarded by Council and will be presented at the 2010 Congress in Bournemouth.
The deadline for 2010 nominations has now passed.
