New RCN leadership programme for nursing home registered managers
The RCN has launched an innovative six day leadership programme that is designed specifically to meet the leadership development needs of registered managers of nursing homes.
The programme, entitled Leading for care, focuses on the registered manager’s role in ensuring appropriate nursing care for patients. The initiative is funded jointly by the Health and Social Care Board and Public Health Agency.
It will be available to every registered manager of a nursing home in Northern Ireland. The first cohort of the programme began in August 2012.
