Hamish Kemp has been active in the RCN since his student days. Since 1992 he has been working to support people with learning disabilities and complex behavioural issues. His current role is Learning Disability Clinical Lead at the Manchester Learning Disability Partnership.  

Hamish is a qualified forensic nurse, and his areas of expertise include health and social care partnership working, and the use of the Mental Capacity Act within care settings.

In his spare time he enjoys gardening, walking and supporting Bolton Wanderers.
