Kevin Bell works within the learning disability setting having qualified in 1987 from the College of Mental Health. He is currently a trade union side secretary. Within his current role he has gained extensive insight into all fields of the nursing profession, both in the public and independent sector of health care provision. He has represented nurses, students and health care assistants from all areas on a wide range of issues. He is also Chair of the North Western Branch in Northern Ireland.

Kevin has three children and his hobbies include refereeing Gaelic football matches, reading and travelling.
