Ian Hulatt
Mental Health Adviser
Ian Hulatt joined the Nursing Department as the RCN Mental Health Adviser in June 2004. Ian has spent time in mental health nursing practice, management and latterly education. He has trained as a counsellor, teacher and as a "Thorn" nurse at the Institute of Psychiatry.
Ian's remit is UK-wide. He advises and liaises with individual members, statutory and non-statutory organisations on mental health policy and nursing practice.
