Naomi Chapman
Executive Nurse Network Manager

Naomi is an experienced general, children’s, and district nurse and spent seven years as a clinical nurse specialist in Raynauds and Scleroderma at the tertiary musculoskeletal centre in Leeds. She is also qualified as an allied health professional and has worked in both city and rural settings as a podiatrist. In her most recent NHS roles, Naomi has worked as a primary care trust clinical commissioner leading a service-wide redesign of health and social care intermediate tier services and has also been an allied health professional commissioning and quality adviser.
From a research perspective, Naomi has a PhD from the University of Leeds. Her research interests are patient reported outcome measures, service evaluation and quality of life, and she has published in both nursing and medical press. Naomi is currently an honorary research fellow with the University of Leeds (school of medicine) and has held several roles in NHS research and development. She has moved to the RCN from the National Institute of Health Research where she worked as operations manager in their national specialty group team.
