Consultations
The Policy Unit manages the process of allocating all policy consultation documents received by the RCN to the staff member with the appropriate expertise to lead a response.
The Policy Unit's role is to facilitate the process and advise members if a consultation has been received or if a response has been sent. It is the responsibility of the lead RCN member of staff to formulate the response by the required deadline and it is then signed off by the RCN's General Secretary, Council or Council Committee or delegated to an appropriate Council or staff member.
This section lists consultation documents that are currently active and enables members to participate in the RCN's response to those consultations. Go to current consultations.
Members should send their comments/views to the appropriate lead RCN staff member before the deadline, so that they can be incorporated within the final response.
