The RCN Learning and Development Consultancy Service: helping you achieve safe quality care
Do you want the best for people who use and work in your organisation?
The RCN Consultancy Service works with organisations in all areas of health and social care to support improvements in care, careers for staff and the workplace. We work in partnership with you to design, implement and evaluate individual, team and organisational development programmes and activities.
Our approach
We are guided by a vision of advancing excellence in practice and driven by a passion for ensuring the provision of safe, quality care that is centred on the needs of the service user and is evidence-based. We work with health and social care practitioners from all disciplines and in all settings, including senior managers and frontline staff.
We use work-based and experiential learning methods which are evidence based, innovative and challenging to assist people in developing their full potential, both professionally and personally. Our programmes are also highly practical, focused on making a sustainable difference by helping people to find out what really works.
We aim to develop individuals' ability to work in complex environments through developing their creativity, flexibility and ability to take up their authority; enabling them to influence and respond effectively in new and changing environments.
Working with the RCN Consultancy Service means you have access to the resources, expertise, and local and national infrastructure of the wider RCN, so we can help you to sustain improvements and influence policy and practice beyond your organisation.
And through our strategic alliance with the Open University you can get academic credits for our programmes.
