Welcome from Michael Brown - Chair of the RCN Scotland board

RCN Scotland is proud to be the voice of nursing in Scotland. We represent nurses, nursing students and health care support workers. We also campaign on issues of concern to nurses and patients, promote excellence in practice, and influence Scottish Government policies.

As Chair of the RCN Scotland board, I would encourage you to get in touch to discuss any aspect of the work of RCN Scotland. On these pages you can find contact details for all RCN Scotland board members, our two RCN Council representatives and staff.

The RCN Scotland board has made, and will continue to make, a real difference in NHS Scotland and the independent sector, at health board level and with the Scottish and UK Governments, to ensure we influence effectively on behalf of you and our patients.

We are facing challenging issues to our health services and changes that will affect the future of nursing and RCN members in Scotland. Together, we can continue to face the challenge of getting it right for nurses and the public across Scotland.
