IT skills programmes
RCN Scotland offers courses to all our members interested in enhancing their IT skills. We know that IT is increasingly affecting and influencing the work you do as a healthcare professional and as nursing students. Each development session is facilitated by a member of staff.
Our basic PC skills course contains four modules:
- PC skills
- word processing
- data entry
- internet searches
The basic PC skills course will be available from January 2008, one day each month. On each development day, course participants will have the option to complete as few or as many modules as they wish. Course dates will appear on this page in December 2007.
The basic PC skills courses are held in the RCN Learning Hub at 42 South Oswald Road, Edinburgh.
RCN Scotland Learning and Development Department can also offer more advanced PC development if required.
