RCN Scotland 2008 activist conference 'Valuing Nurses'

The RCN Scotland 2008 activist conference was held at the Beardmore Hotel, Clydebank at the end of February. The conference was attended by over 80 RCN activists based in Scotland. The theme of the 2008 conference was 'Valuing Nurses'; and included a range of plenary sessions, workshops and a keynote address from Dr Peter Carter.  Feedback from the conference has been positive and there was a real sense of camaraderie amongst those who attended.

This year the conference was webcast in order to allow those unable to attend the chance to view plenary sessions.  Footage from each of the plenary sessions is available here.
