Scottish Government one year job guarantee

If you are a student nurse in Scotland reaching the end of your training and wondering about getting your first job, you may in the future be eligible to take advantage of the Scottish Government's One Year Job Guarantee internship scheme.

The scheme is available to newly qualified nurses in Scotland who are experiencing difficulty finding their first post. It gives you the opportunity, on a part-time basis, to consolidate your newly-acquired skills.

You can find more information and make an application to the scheme on the NHS Education for Scotland (NES) website.
