When I was looking for a new job in 1989 I found myself in the fortunate position of having three jobs to choose between.

For a variety of reasons, including the chance to work in the West End (what 19 year old wouldn’t?) I decided on the RCN. Twenty years later, I’m still here.

One of the best things about the RCN is the staff. Everyone is friendly and respectful, no matter what their status within the organisation. A few years ago I decided to take sabbatical leave to study IT. It meant I could change my career direction within the RCN and everyone was incredibly supportive. I successfully applied for a role in information Systems and I now work in IT Support AV where I have great job satisfaction.
