Working as the Internal Communications Manager I am responsible for the effective internal communications to help all RCN employees to connect with senior management and each other, and to share information, ideas, knowledge and good practice. This improves ways of working and morale across the organisation and, consequently, provide a more cost-effective, efficient and customer-orientated service to RCN members. I am also responsible for developing our internal communications strategy and working with colleagues to deliver a high quality programme.

I enjoy the interaction with our staff and members, working with them can be really inspiring. My job is incredibly varied and as my manager is very supportive I get to try lots of new things and develop my skills across many areas.

The people here are fantastic; I have some really good working relationships with people in other departments as well as my own. To work here I believe you should be committed to doing an excellent job because the more you give the RCN the more you get back.
