Men's Health Forum

The aim of the Men’s Health Forum is to improve male health and well-being, and their website offers a wealth of information to help meet that endeavour.

The home page is a simple and effective guide to the many mixed resources, from links to topical health stories (via the BBC or the Guardian’s health pages) to useful statistics about men and disease, men and doctors, race and health and so on.

As well as these valuable charts and population analyses, the site links to a sister (or should that be brother?) site at www.malehealth.co.uk , which provides comprehensive healthy lifestyle and exercise advice, including an online gym. An Ask the Doctor facility and an A-Z of Men’s Health Glossary are available, as is an innovative graphical “users guide” to the male body, where moving the cursor across the picture of the model highlights information about health and common pathology.

An excellent and much needed addition to this aspect of online health resources and one that could be of use to men and their partners across all age groups.
