This is an excellent new site providing information on a variety of issues relating to breast cancer. A particular strength of this American site is that it provides reliable, in-depth and unbiased analysis of international research relating to breast cancer treatment.
The site includes details of not only contemporary factual information and statistics about cancer which would contribute greatly to developing patient and staff understanding of the disease; but also details of lifestyle features, such as topics of special interest to mothers and women who plan to become mothers, with concerns about this disease.
The site is exceptionally well designed and easy to use, with clear and attractive graphics which complement rather than complicate its accessibility. An interactive, pop-up glossary of terms, and scientific studies reviewed in lay persons language make the science of diagnosis, treatment and research easy to understand. The research archives may be downloaded free of charge. A visit to this site is well recommended regardless of whether you work within the specialty of breast cancer nursing.
