RCN CYP Acute Care Forum: for all members caring for children and young people with acute health care needs regardless of environment
Purpose
- Create a professional pathway for all nurses working with infants, children and young people
- Establish networks to advance and promote excellence in the care of infants, children and young people
- Engage members by active recruitment and retention of nurses in the care of infants, children and young people
- Provide support and advice to nurses working with infants, children and young people with acute health care needs
- Raise profile of nurses who are involved in the care of infants, children and young people
- Advocate on behalf of nurses who are involved in the care of infants, children and young people
- Listen to the views of nurses who are involved in the care of infants, children and young people as they help shape developments
- Cascade changes in policy and frameworks
