- To raise awareness of children and young people's mental health issues with nurses across all fields of practice
- Provide network and share ideas, best practice and support
- Liaising with other organisations
- Contribute to clinical guidance and consultations
- Dissemination of best nursing practice
- Discussion zone for members
Objectives

- Make good communication links with mental health field of practice
- Develop hyperlinks on website e.g. UKANN
- Develop a system for monitoring and responding to discussion zone
- Work toward community co-ordinator not being part of forum steering committee
- Nationwide/regional education meetings to promote face to face meeting and networking
- Political leadership programm
- Collaborative conference
- Succession planning
