Superfood for Babies: How overcoming barriers to breastfeeding will save children’s lives

Save the Children UK published a new report on breastfeeding and a public campaign targeting Nestlé and Danone. Entitled “Superfood for Babies: How overcoming barriers to breastfeeding will save children’s lives”, the report examines the difference in child mortality breastfeeding would make in poor countries – stating that if all babies were breastfed in the first hour of life then 830,000 lives could be saved.
