Purpose and objectives

Purpose

To promote the advanced nursing role in the care of children and young people by:

• maintaining a body of expertise as a resource for the profession
• peer support
• clinical supervision
• continuing education
• facilitating a dialogue between the college and  members for the purpose of consultation and working on pertinent child health issues of the day.

Objectives for 2009-2010 and 2010-11 and suggested project bids for Forum and community

• Meeting to set up web facilitators and newsletter leads as well as outline web content and maintenance
• Clinical and professional study day March 2010
