- To lead and advance practice within children's critical care
- To influence and advise various professional bodies and organisations through a unified and expert voice
- To ensure effective implementation and monitoring of national standards for children's critical care
- To provide support, expertise and coaching to all community members
Objectives
Potential project bid
Skin integrity in the critically ill child – a potential multi-centre trial examining the validity of existing paediatric assessment tools and developing an appropriate tool for this high risk population. Establishing an integrated approach to skin integrity management for critically ill children
Objectives 2009-2010
- Re-establish terms of reference, roles and responsibilities
- Identify potential publications to raise awareness of the purpose and role of the community that identifies the purpose of the community e.g. how the community has influenced workforce planning
- Identify and train a minimum of two on-line leads
- Implement online communication strategy (see above)
- Identify possible communities to engage with on project work
Objectives 2010-11
- Identify project for collaborative work with other communities
- Publish previous project work
