Danish Association of Paediatric Nurses
An association of the Danish Nurses Organization, which has 900 members. It was established in 1981.
- It publishes Paediatric Nursing four times each year. This magazine produces articles for paediatric nurses in Denmark and information about the latest book titles.
- It holds an annual three-day national conference which has a different theme each year, such as long-term and chronically ill children and their family, sitophobia, the family of today.
- It organises a number of one-day courses every year, covering topics such as children and teenagers with life crises, enuresis and encopresis.
- It also gives grants to members to participate in courses and conferences. It has two specialist groups who work with neonatal nursing and children who have been exposed to failing care. It is involved in a European and Nordic co-operation about Paediatric Nursing.
