Since the last newsletter the results of the joint Nursing Standard and RCN Student survey have been published. There were replies from 1,700 students.

The Willis Commission report was launched in November at the House of Lords. The report was the culmination of six months’ work examining pre-registration nurse education across all four UK countries.

Dr Francis Biley was Associate Professor at the University of Bournemouth. He had particular methodological interests in historiography, autoethnography, unitary appreciative inquiry and using the arts and humanities in health care.
