Farewell…

As many of you will be aware Mike Hayward left his role as RCN Advisor for emergency care last year. In the four years Mike spent in this role he was instrumental in pushing the emergency care agenda forward and in ensuring the ECA forum was operating effectively, efficiently and responsibly to its membership. Mike was renowned for his professionalism, integrity and sense of fair play. He provided a huge amount of support and guidance to the committee and will be missed. Mike was never afraid to challenge the status quo! However, in his current role as operational manager of emergency care we are sure he will strive to ensure the voice of emergency nursing is not ignored and that quality care remains high on the agenda.
