Free minor injury and illness courses
Published: 24 August 2010
Good news for anyone in the Yorkshire and Humber region....
The region is funding four-day minor injuries and four-day minor illness courses, run by the region’s primary care training centre for health care workers. If you are a ‘local’ in Yorkshire and Humber, the strategic health authority (SHA) is funding these courses, at least until the next financial year.
Courses can be attendance only or attendees can enrol for the same training but complete an assessment to gain degree-level credits with the University of Teesside. People outside the region must pay to go on the courses. For further information, visit the Yorkshire and Humber Primary Care Training Centre website.
