Quality indicators

What is your experience so far?

We have seen the arrival of the new clinical indicators in the last few months.  I think some of the challenges remain in collecting and checking the data and engaging all staff in the importance of recording things accurately.

Ambulatory pathways represent a significant growth area driving speedier quality care for patients and limiting unnecessary admissions. It is this cross health care economy work that has the potential to help our patients get consistency in the future.

Of course if admissions can be avoided this has to be good news for patients. It also helps those hospital capacity problems that all of us will have experienced.

We are interested in seeing how you have created ways of delivering these and what your experiences are of them. Please email me at richardbrownhill@blueyonder.co.uk
