Meningitis Research Foundation guidelines
The Meningitis Research Foundation funds a range of guidance notes, educational tools and treatment algorithms for health professionals to promote early recognition and treatment of meningitis and septicaemia, and to obtain information and help for patients.

Endorsed by the Royal College of Nursing and the Irish Nurses Organisation, a pocket-size laminated card is based on findings from a national study of Health Care Delivery and Outcome in Children with Meningococcal Disease. - Meningococcal septicaemia: Identification and management for ambulance personnel (2008) PDF, 156KB
Developed in collaboration with the Joint Royal Colleges Ambulance Liaison Committee (JRCALC), this guidance is available as a laminated pocket card and an A3 size poster for ambulance stations.
