Imaging Nurses Forum
Welcome
Welcome to the RCN Imaging Nurses Forum. The purpose of the forum is to promote, support and develop the role of the imaging nurse by:
- providing access to a network of specialist imaging nurses and creating EU and international links
- encouraging nurses to influence national and local policy and the RCN
- facilitating/organising events such as an annual conference
- producing guidelines/standards for best practice.
If you're not yet a member of the Imaging Nurses Forum, what are you waiting for? RCN members can join forums free of charge, and benefits include regular e-newsletters from the forum keeping you up to date on topics such as good practice and upcoming events. Updating guidance documents
The forum is currently updating the following guidance documents:
Patients undergoing vascular intervention
Patients undergoing interventional biopsy procedures
Best practice guidance on radiation protection and the use of radiation protective equipment
Best practice guidance on pregnancy testing prior to diagnostic imaging.
